CRITERIA OF CHOICE OF ATTACHMENT SYSTEMS FOR IMPLANT-RETAINED OVERDENTURES

The choice of an attachment system in implant-retained overdenture treatment has to take into account specific clinical criteria as well as criteria connected to the characteristics of each attachment. Chosen attachments must be simple, effective and reliable. There is no universal system adaptable to all clinical situations. Assessment of these various criteria allows us to optimize this choice and so participate in the success of an implant overdenture treatment.
